New Delhi, February 21, 2011: Air Works India Engineering Pvt. Ltd. today announced that it has appointed Nick White to the position of Vice President, Business and General Aviation.
Nick, most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of Jordan based JorAMCo, a leading company in the Middle East in the field of aircraft maintenance. Nick has assumed his new responsibilities effective February 14, 2011.
“Nick’s impressive track record is testimony to his ability to build world class aviation maintenance organizations that are capable of meeting global OEM standards and superior customer service," said Vivek N Gour, Managing Director, Air Works.”Nick’s experience in aviation and global exposure position him well to lead Air Works Business and General Aviation MRO to the next level,” he added.
Nick has had over 35 years of experience in aviation with responsibility for maintenance of over 20 different types of aircraft in commercial and general aviation. Earlier in his career Nick was the Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Air Deccan, Bangalore. Prior to that Nick served as the Director Engineering and Maintenance at Britannia Airways which was the largest charter operator in Europe in the 1980s and 1990s. Nick has in-depth aviation engineering leadership skills, with the experience of handling large operations across multiple locations and the benefit of working in India and Asia for several years.
